Amit Tandon is an Indian Actor and Singer who was born in New York, United States. He is best known for his work as actor in television serial. He was come into limelight when he is participated as a contestant in reality show Indian Idol 1 and later made his debut in acting with daily soap “Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai” which was aired on Sony Channel. He become popular for his work as a actor in daily soap “Dill Mill Gayye” in which he portrayed the role of “Dr. Abhimanyu Modi”. He was recently played the role of Professor Ashok in daily soap “Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya” aired on Zing Channel.
Biography
Amit Tandon was born on 11th April 1979 in New York, United States. He is a talented actor and well known face in entertainment industry. He has completed his schooling education from new york and later completed his graduation from Stony Brook University. After completed his graduation from new york he was shifted to india to try his luck in the field of acting.
During his course in acting in india he took participated as a contestant in reality show Indian Idol from where he was started to recognized. Later he was started to give audition for shows and got selected as actor in daily soap “Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai”. Post that he was seen as actor in daily soap like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Saath Saath Banayenge Ek Aashiyaan, Bhabhi, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, Dill Mill Gayye, Ye Hai Mohabbatein and many more. Apart of being actor he is also a good singer and made his debut in singing by releasing his solo album with the name of “Tanha – Lonely at Heart”.
