Amar Upadhyay is an Indian Actor and Model who was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He is best known for his work as actor in television serial. He made his debut as an actor in comedy based TV show “Dekh Bhai Dekh” which was aired on Doordarshan Metro Channel and later made his debut as actor in bollywood movie “Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge!” which was released in 1998. He become popular for his work as an actor in daily soap “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” in which he portrayed the role of “Mihir Virani”. He is currently playing the role of “Dharam Suryavanshi” in popular daily soap “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya” which is aired on Star Plus.
Biography
Amar Upadhyay was born on 1st August 1976 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He is a talented actor and well known face in entertainment industry. He has completed his schooling education from mumbai and later completed his graduation in chemical engineering. He start his career as a model and done may modelling assignment. During his modelling career he was appeared in Stardust Magazine as a model from where bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan offered him to work in daily soap “Dekh Bhai Dekh” which was his first TV show.
He was later started to give audition and was selected as actor in daily soap “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” from where his career in acting field is scaled to new height. He was later seen as actor in daily soap like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kalash, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Chand Ke Paar Chalo, Ek Thhi Naayka and many more. Apart of being acting he is like Taekwondo and he is also obtained a black belt in it.
